Traverse City

We are up in Traverse City at the Lodge. Pappy and LeeLee, Buck's Dad and Stepmom, bought the house last year and have turned it into an Up North paradise. We first visited in November of last year, and this is our first stay in the summer. We went out on the boat today and got caught in a thunderstorm with three little boys--one excited, two frightened--and made it back just before the really heavy rain and lightening arrived. 

These pictures are from our pre-storm lunch at Power Island, a short boat ride away from the Lodge. 

James learned to ride a bike this weekend! About an hour in, he had a crash. The first words out of his mouth were, "Can I still ride the bike?"
