The Beginning

The only person who got any sleep on the flight.

We flew into Paris and rented a car for the 6 hour drive to Freiburg. (Definitely not the fastest or easiest way, but the best option for us for various reasons.)

It was an easy and beautiful drive, and as soon as we arrived in Freiburg we went to work doing our favorite things: riding the Strassenbahn, going to parks, eating bread, etc.
